In 2010, Mike Bolynn and Gerrick Gann were working as general contractors for a local modular home company. During a period where the company underwent some changes, they were approached with the business venture of manufacturing storage sheds. With their extensive industry knowledge and experience, they quickly made a name for themselves and founded Hometown Sheds in early 2011.
In February, 2011, the first Hometown Sheds location was officially opened in Gastonia, where we are still helping customers with all of their storage solutions to this day. Shortly after opening that first location, Hometown opened multiple other lots across the Carolinas and Virginia. As they say, the rest is history. Today there are 10 total Hometown Sheds locations to choose from, with knowledgeable and friendly General Managers standing by to earn your business.
Hometown Sheds offers top of the line, quality and durable metal sheds, wooden buildings, Amish built dog kennels, chicken coops, and playsets in addition to metal structures, lifestyle structures, modular office spaces, and carports. We are proud to be locally owned and operated, headquartered out of Burlington, NC. Many of our buildings are built and customized for our customers right from the ground up in our Danville, VA factory.
